The Patchwork Quilt Country Inn is a premier northern Indiana country bed and breakfast which is located on 3+ acres in the heartland of Indiana's Amish Country. We have fields of corn & wheat, vegetables & flower gardens. Behind the inn sits a rustic barn that serves as a favorite backdrop for photos for many of our guest.

The bed & breakfast had its first transformation in 1962, when Milton and Arletta Lovejoy created a vacation farm. The Lovejoys believed that to “truly experience the serendipity that abounds a countryside one must step through the thresholds and shake the hands of the people within a household.” They wanted to share their love for the area and the people that inhabit it with guests and friends that came to their bed & breakfast.

Soon the reputation for warm hospitality and wonderful food spread around the countryside. It was recognized by Norman Simpson, the Berkshire Traveler, as one of the outstanding country bed and breakfast in the United States.

Since its modest beginnings in 1962 the Patchwork Quilt has added a gift shop, Fitness room, Recreation Room, Lodge, Office for guest use, Modern computer conveniences such as wireless internet and increased the number of guest rooms in the bed and breakfast to 9.

The Kunisch & Nevill families are continuing the excellence in service that the Lovejoys began and work to share the serendipity of country living with their guests during their visit to one of northern Indiana's premier country bed and breakfast.

Inn Policies

• No Smoking (Inside the Inn or Any Guest Rooms) if your choose to smoke inside your room you will be charged a $200.00 cleaning fee. So please do not smoke inside the inn.
• All Rates Based Upon Double Occupancy (Fee for Each Additional Person is $20.00 per person)
• Check In Time 2:00pm - 6:00pm (Call for Late Check In)
• Check Out Time 11:00am (Sunday Check Out is 12:00pm)
• 50% Deposit Required at the Time of Reservation
• Payment methods are Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express
• Cancellation Policy, Cancellations received more than 10 days prior to your scheduled arrival date will be charged a $25.00 cancellation fee per room. Payment in full is required for all reservations cancelled within 10 days of your scheduled arrival date.
• The credit card used for this reservation will be charged the remaining balance the day of arrival unless other payment arrangements have been made.
• For group reservations (3 or more rooms) there is a 30 day cancellation period with a non-refundable deposit of half the total.
• During Notre Dame games or special weekends the cancellation period is 30 days.
• A 2 night minimum stay is required for Notre Dame weekends and special events to view Notre Dame game schedule please click here
