The poem I am writing for Tammy for our 25th anniversary is not completed as of yet. I guess I have what is called writers block. So until I have it ready I am posting the poem “Changes” I wrote this poem when Tammy and I were going through some tough times like all married couples have. This poem is published in the book (The Colors of Life) on page 3. I hope you enjoy the poem and please feel free to comment on it.
I know that people change in many different ways. And I know the changes never happen in a day.
Most people make changes over a long period of time and the changes they make never have any rhythm or rhyme.
Through out the years we’ve have changes a lot. Some of the changes were for the good but most of them were not.
The reason we make changes I do not fully understand but the consequences of them are now in our hands.
Most changes are small and do not seem like there much but when you put them all together they can kill even love.
Can people change back once it too late or is all their love just gone to waste.
Maybe it’s not all for waste if people are willing to make small positive changes along the way.
I have made mistakes and you have made some to. I have taken you for granted, as so have you.
I sit here and wonder was it even love at all or was I just here to break your fall.
I’m willing to make changes if you can make a few too so our many years of love can forever stay true.
That’s why I named this poem “Changes” and this one I have written just for you.
The poem was written on July 21st 2003 for my “Brown Eyed Girl” Tammy
I will be posting some of the poems I have written Tammy through out the years. On the 17th of August I will post the one I am writing for our 25th anniversary titled (In that time of my life). I hope you have a chance to read and comment on them. Feel free to post any poems that you have written. One of the poems I wrote for Tammy has been published so please enjoy them.
As I read the online surveys it seems that a few of the guests make mentions of strange things in the old part of the Inn. We have had a couple of guests talk to us about it but I truly never took them too serious. If any guest have had anything out of the ordinary take place while visiting the Inn lately or prior to Tammy and I purchasing the Inn please leave a post or comment in the “slightly strange” category.

We will mail you a free night gift certificate which is transferable.

The Innkeepers themselves DO NOT pick the winner. A number is assigned to each person who participated in the survey 30 days prior to the first saturday of every month. All numbers are then written on a piece of paper folded and put into a hat. At that time a Guest currently staying at the Inn picks a number out off the hat and viola there’s the winner.
On August 7th 2009 we will start letting guests bring there friendly pets to the Inn. We will let pets 20 pounds and under stay inside the Inn with the owners and pets over 20 pounds will stay in the kennel that we are going to set up in the bard. Please visit the ( About the Inn) section on the website for policies, cost and restrictions regarding your pets. We will have the policies completed by August 5th 2009. Thanks Ed
We have just sent out our 2nd newsletter about the Inn and all the changes we have made. We will be calling it The Patchwork Quilt Country Inn buzz-letter. I hope you take the time to read and comment on it. Thanks Ed
